- Summary
-
- Murder!: based on a novel and play called Enter Sir John by Clemence Dane and Helen Simpson. When a woman is convicted of murder, one of the men selected to serve on the murder trial jury believes the accused, an aspiring actress is innocent of the crime and takes it upon himself to apprehend the real killer
- Sabotage: based on Joseph Conrad's The Secret Agent. I was also released as The Woman Alone, and should not be confused with Hitchcock's film Secret Agent released the same year, or his 1942 film Saboteur. A movie theater cashier suspects her mild-mannered husband is a traitor who is terrorizing London
- Jamaica Inn: in Cornwall, around 1800, a young woman discovers that she's living near a gang of criminals who arrange shipwrecks for profit
