Summary
Fed up with crushing rocks on a prison farm in Mississippi, Ulysses Everett McGill busts loose, except that he's still shackled to two misfits. With nothing to lose, they embark on an odyssey through the Old South in search of loot stashed at one of their homes. The house is scheduled to be flooded out by a new dam, so time is of the essence. Their riotous road trip is filled with chases, close calls, near misses and betrayal and they come across some strange characters (a blind prophet, sexy sirens and a one-eyed Bible salesman)
