- Summary
-
- Master of the World: Robur has at his fingertips an assortment of whiz-bang 19th-century whatchamacallits including the Albatross, a fantastic flying machine that's at once part zeppelin, part whirlybird, part resort hotel and completely lethal with its overwhelming combination of see-you-later speed and bombs-away firepower that can blast the armies of the world to their knees. Crafty Robur guides the Albatross over the continents, humbling nations one by one when they refuse to kowtow to his self-styled brand of peace or else. Finally, on-board captive and U.S. agent Strock decides he must somehow put an end to Robur's crazed scheme for world dominance while there is still a world to be saved
- Tower of London: On the death of his brother King Edward IV, Richard of Gloucester conspires to get the throne for himself. The late King had two young sons, his heir, Edward V and the younger Prince Richard, but they are not of age and so names his other brother, Clarence as Lord Protector of the Realm. Gloucester soon kills his younger brother but is haunted by his ghost and what he has done. As he continues to kill those around him, Gloucester is haunted by those he has betrayed hearing voices and slowly descending into madness. He spreads rumors that the late King's two sons are illegitimate and therefore not eligible to ascend to the throne. He assassinates the young princes and is crowned King Richard III. The ghosts from his past have the final say however
- Diary of a Madman: A 19th century magistrate is possessed by an evil spirit called the Horla, which compels him to murder
- An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe: Features Vincent Price narrating four of Edgar Allan Poe's most horrifying classics including "The tell tale heart," "The sphinx," "The cask of Amontillado' and "The pit and the pendulum."
- Cry of the Banshee: The powerful Lord Edward Whitman foolishly destroys a witches' temple and kills two of their "children." As retribution, the witches summon a spirit to kill, and kill, until the last of Lord Edward Whitman's family is in the grave. One by one, his family dies. Lord Whitman's only hope is to find and kill the High Priestess who cursed him, but the spirit's powers have no earthly bounds
