- "'1999 was a long year of touring...The last shows of the year found me in NYC doing six nights straight at the Westbeth Theater. I had never done that many shows in a row in one place. I was interested to see how I was going to deal with being on the same stage every night considering my level of exhaustion. Added pressure was put on when we decided to record some of the nights for this release. I find I choke readily when tape is rolling...It turned out to be a pretty good night, the audience was great and everyone seemed to have a good time. So here it is in its full dubious stereophonic splendor. A Saturday night in New York with me. I hope you like it'--Henry Rollins" -- pg. 2 of insert
